Brandon Fobbs began his acting career on stage at Hampton University. He had two great acting achievements while attending the HBCU. One was his Tri-city Nomination for best actor in a drama in Portfolio Magazine for his performance as Dracula in the stage play Dracula. His other achievement was landing a role in an AIDS prevention film shot oversees in Tanzania. Upon his graduation from Hampton University, with the exception of a little life in between, Brandon was cast as the recurrent lazy eyed thug named “Fruit” in seasons three and four of HBO’s hit show The Wire. From there his later roles would include a variety of diverse characters. On TV Brandon has played a disgruntled bike messenger on Without a Trace, a physical therapist on CBS’s hit show Brothers and Sisters, and many more. He starred in Pride with famed actors Terrance Howard and Bernie Mac. His other films include 1968 Tunnel Rats, The Devil’s Tomb, in which he starred along side Academy Award winner Cuba Gooding Jr., and the star-studded movie This Christmas.

As of recent, Brandon was cast in and HBO/BBC Pilot collaboration called “Getting On” and is awaiting the world wide Premiere of his newest Sci Fi feature Film project called “Channeling,” which was just accepted into the London Sci Fi festival.

Although his first love and trade has always been acting, Brandon’s newest evolutionary discovery of himself in this industry is creating. He is a studied screenwriter and now embarks on a parallel path of Writing and even sometimes Directing .
He has directed his first short film MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE in March of 2010. Since then his main interest now, is in creating work for himself and his friends so that they may have the opportunities to show their talents as well.
And that is how He came to create his original piece, “The Realest Audition EVER!!!
And this, to him, is considered the beginning steps to his destiny of professional visual artistry that is good for the soul.
